Is Ashlee Simpson Pregnant?
According to rumors on Usmagazine.com and OK Magazine, the newly engaged Ashlee Simpson is pregnant with fiance Pete Wentz’s child. But Pete Wentz wrote into MTV news:
“There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood,” he wrote. “This is all news to me. I can’t wait for the story about how I’m really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover. … I mean really, this is crazy. … I mean we’re engaged, that’s true, and happy about it.”
Asked again if he was denying reports that Simpson is pregnant, Wentz, 28, replied, “Yeah.”
Err… well, ok I wouldn’t exactly call it a “witch hunt,” which according to M-W.com means ” 1 : a searching out for persecution of persons accused of witchcraft 2 : the searching out and deliberate harassment of those (as political opponents) with unpopular views “, buuuuutttt whatever.
As we all know, celebs love love love denying they are preggers, so I guess only time will tell. And who could forget that infamous YouTube video of Pete and Ashlee poking fun at pop star pregnancy. Hmmm… a little more telling than we first thought?

David Cook: Goodbye Emover!
So I’ve sorta been watching American Idol every week, and I basically hate all the contestants except David Cook, who I lovingly refer to as “the Creed guy” because he totally sings like one of those dudes in some “rock” band from Canada or who loves Jesus. I missed this week but was pleased to see pictures and footage of the show which showed a remarkable change in David’s outward appearance: David Cook’s “emover” (aka the “emo combover”) has disappeared!

Panic + Phantom Planet = Best Concert Tour EVER?
Woah! Holy bejezus! Well I just *happen* to be watching a promo video for the new Panic at the Disco tour (they have a new album dropping later this year) when my jaw nearly hit the floor:
PHANTOM PLANET IS TOURING WITH PANIC AT THE DISCO!! WHAAAAHHT?
I’d always grouped Phantom Planet in the indie pop-rock category, having seen them play medium-sized rock clubs with bands like Superdrag and since disbanded New York band The Realistics since 2001. The last time I saw them was in 2004 at Irving Plaza while they were Jason Schwartzman-less and promoting their self-titled album.
So you can understand my shock when I heard Panic’s Brenden Urie uttering “Phantom Planet” in that video: 1. I couldn’t believe that Phantom Planet was still around and 2. Why they hell are they touring with Panic, Motion City Soundtrack, and The Hush Sound?

Panic at the Disco Release New Lyrics
Panic at the Disco have posted the lyrics of 5 of the songs off their upcoming album, Pretty. Odd., dropping March 25th. The lyrics include the words to “We’re So Starving”, “She’s a Handsome Woman”, “That Green Gentleman”, “Mad as Rabbits”, and the first single off the new LP, “Nine in the Afternoon.”

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson: Self-Proclaimed Assholes
Pete Wentz just posted a video of himself and his lady love, Ashlee Simpson, making fun of celebrity folk (perhaps the Spears sisters?) doing something for the world by making babies.
In one telling scene, Ashlee screams to Pete to get her the Cheetos and then they go on to say that they will be having a little rascal in 9 months.
Not sure why this was necessary…
Jared Leto Gets a New Haircut
TV dreamboat cum “emo” rocker Jared Leto has been out and about sporting a brand new ‘do, much to the amazement of fans and celeb hounds alike.
In this case pictures DO speak a thousand words. No adjectives under the sun could begin to explain the breathtaking photo of the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman I’m about to show you.

Panic! at the Disco Changes Name to… Panic at the Disco
Panic! at the Disco, we hardly new ya! According to Rolling Stone’s Rock Daily blog, the formerly emphatic quartet will be officially dropping the exclamation point from the correct spelling of their band name.
Sadly I will now have to abbreviate the band name as P@TD or PATD instead of the way more fun “P!@TD” or simply “Panic!”
Their second album, Pretty. Odd. will be released on March 25th on Decaydence/Fueled by Ramen.
