Brendon Urie: Myspace Strangers are “Creepy”
So apparently there’s this thing on the internet called “MySpace” and Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco follows in the footsteps of Pete Wentz and declares he is not a fan:
“I think it’s creepy for people [on MySpace] to add friends without knowing them,” Urie says. “None of us in the band have a personal MySpace, and I think it’s kind of weird when people come up to me and say ‘Oh, I’m your friend on MySpace.’ … My security guard counted 10 fake mes and five fake mes that have my name spelled wrong, so it’s pretty entertaining to look at those.”
Funny, I also had my security guard count my fake “mes” on Myspace. Thought I was the only one!
Guess MySpace isn’t as good as Hot Pockets.
ya i think its weird to add people u dont even know and then say that there friends but anyway i just joined myspace i usually dont join stuff like this but i wanted to send a message to p!ATD and i had to join in order to do that so ya
yeah I have one but I’ve seen so much fake Brendon Urie accounts and there are people that believe that it’s you or WANT to believe that’s you..I think it’s sad though, yeah the whole point of myspace is to be able to say in contact with your friends but you can make new friends and I’ve been new friends on myspace that I can talk to about music and stuff. Yeah people request to be your friends but that don’t mean you have to add them..but all in all yeah there are some creepy people on myspace.
