My Chemical Romance Play NYC’s Knitting Factory
My Chemical Romance just finished playing an intimate gig post-VMA appearance right here in downtown Manhattan at the Knitting Factory. The venue was only about 2/3 full, so it felt more like a house party performance than a full-scale concert, but it was awesome. Maybe around 350-400 people were there? (???) Strictly fans and friends and family.
Gerard was giving shout outs left and right and also joked around by asking us not to throw bottles at them, obviously referring to the pelting they got at Reading.
They played some new songs off of The Black Parade including “Cancer” and “I Don’t Love You”, but capped off the evening with their biggest hit, “Helena”. Fun fun fun!

Why post about how much you hate them where you pretty much know only fans will read? Personally, I think that hating a band like MCR is sad. Because they are so amazing. At first, I was like you, all “emo loser” type things. MCR got me over that, because it’s impossible to keep that up and mantain musical integrity. I was at this show, I heard the new songs, and they were amazing. So, give it up, because we love them either way.
I dont care what he looks like i think tht his songs are the best i love his music it saies alot to me i love the music to not just the words, the music and his voice gose good well all i have to say bye

I also went to the concert in Worcester at the DCU center and I thought the concert was MORE THAN AWESOME!!! I could care less that I losted my voice from screamin so hard. =] I was in the fifth row and I couldn’t have been happier. It was awesome having Gerard come over to my side sometimes. If you haven’t seen them in concert yet, I recommend you go.
