According to the press release:
T.I., Panic! At the Disco, Young Jeezy, Taking Back Sunday, Fabolous, Don Omar and others will perform at this year’s New York City concert event on September 23 at the legendary Radio City Music Hall. The event will be hosted by Nick Cannon. The concert is in recognition of the 5,000 hard-working local youth who volunteered four hours of community service through BMRC to earn tickets to this ultra-exclusive event.

Have you seen the cover of NME yet?

It seems like the sort of thing you’d want to take a look at. The headline?
“War On Emo: Whose Side Are You On?”
There’s that interview witht the guy who bottled Brendon Urie, and some general indie bashing of My Chem and their ilk. Stereogum is already all over it. Is it wrong that I’m tempted to go buy all the copies at my newsshop, so they dont get spread around and I can spare the feelings of our fragile emo boys?
awww that cover makes me sad! (i know, how emo of me) pretty sure there are better things to be hating on, like britney being married to kfed, illiteracy, global warming… etc.
TEAM EMO FTW.
SO agree with the above tow comments SO agree
and not even just the Kfed and spears marriage-they could talk about his HIDEOUS album cover!
Some people are taking issue with the fact that the NME cover claims a war on emo when many still don’t consider MCR exactly emo. . .

[...] On Saturday I got a chance to go to the Boost Mobile Rock Corps concert at New York City’s famed Radio City Music Hall.
