My Chem’s Video for “Famous Last Words”: Goodness Gracious Great Balls of Fire!
Finally! We get to see the video that nearly cost Bob a leg. It gets totally intense in the last few moments of the video where you can see Bob mouthing “I can’t take this any more!” and he runs away from his drumkit, pulling up his pantleg to check to see if his skin has totally melted off. Gerard Way looks creepy sexy. Woah! My Chemical Romance take it to the next level.:

There is a bit of drama behind this version of the video: Warner leaked it - and sent it to TV stations - without the band’s approval. At a show a few weeks ago, Frank supposedly talked about it onstage, how the label thought they were taking too long to approve a final cut, and got fed up, so just blew off the band and released what you see here. The band is hoping that the version they prefer will be released on TV shortly, replacing this one.
I saw the video for Famous Last Words. It was fuckin awesome! The fire and the throwing instruments around really set it up. As usual, MCR pulled off the melancholy yet kick ass mood. They will always be my favorite group.
t add to the last one, I want MCR to make music videos for DEAD! and House of Wolves too. Those songs are kick ass. I cant wait till this video gets aired on Fuse and MTV2. It will make #1 for a lot of shit. The effects in this video are crazy. Welcome to the Black Parade was kick ass too, but this one just had that extra somthin. I like em both, and will always love MCR.

And yes, poor Bob, nearly burned a leg off. o_o My friends and I were watching it in horror mixed with awe… I fell in love with Gerard Way all over again watching this vid. -MC

i usually read your other blog, but for a little chemical romance i’ll come over here any day. love the video, not sure about the choice of song and i guess compared to the welcome to the black parade video there isn’t a whole lotta story going on, but i’ll take it!

Love this video. Gerard looks so… manic. Maniacally sexy, of course. But the poor guys got hurt. They handled it really well, though.

On the last shot of famos last words i heard that bob , since he was so close to the fire, acutually had 3rd degree burns on the back of his leg and gerard had broken all the legiments in his foot.thats why the missed thier gig in san fransisco , and thats why everyone was saying they got in a car accident . even through all the pain gerard looked so great on the video , in my opinion his best work ever!!!!!
