Any FOB fan lucky enough to be living in New York, LA or Chicago is going to have the chance to see the band for FREE on MTV’s Infinity Flight 206 Tour which kicks off on February 6th and has the band playing all three cities in 1 day. Head over to Overcast Kids for all the details.

You can also enter to win a chance to travel with the band on MTV’s private jet to ALL 3 cities and shows. Just picture it, you and Patrick are kicking back, shooting the breeze about your mutual love of R&B music while Pete is blogging on his Sidekick. Behind you Andy is practicing ninja moves and Joe is practicing his “Sick Riff of the Day”.
Oh, and if anyone can tell me why Pete is dressed in yellow pants in this video, you get a gold star. And do ya *think* Patrick is reading off of cue cards?:

My Chemical Romance on the Cover of SPIN
Waaaaahoooo! Billed as the band that saves lives. Yesssssssss.

What’s Your Favorite Song Off of Fall Out Boy’s “Infinity On High”?
Now I know that FOB’s album Infinity on High isn’t officially out, and that you guys would NEVER EVER listen/download anything that was illegal or an internet leak or anything, but I have a feeling that a lot of you have already gotten to listen to the new album. You know, through totally legal listening parties organized by…uh….
Okay! But do you guys have a *hunch* of what your favorite song will be? Do you like the My Chemical Romance-ish theatra-pop style of “Thnks Fr Th Mmrs” or the super-fly funky horn and piano backbone of “I’ve Got All This Ringing In My Ears And None On My Fingers”?
I think my favorite songs include “The (After) Life Of The Party” (sooooooooooo pretty and a little bit Morrissey-ish–it makes me want to cry it’s so good) I also really like “I’m Like A Lawyer With The Way I’m Always Trying To Get You Off (Me & You)”
UPDATE: Stream the album until Tuesday, Feb 6, on Buzznet.
Fall Out Boy’s “Infinity on High” Leaks All Over the Internet Bumming Out the Band
According to Absolute Punk.net via ONTD, Pete Wentz has this to say about the leaking of their newest album:
“As this tour winds to an end in the south- this last two weeks has felt like forever. There have been so many ups and downs… each city was carefully picked for one reason or another. Thank you for taking part in this with us. On another note our new record has leaked. While this isn’t the end of the world it certainly feels pretty terrible. As an artist we have a vision for how we want our record to be presented and this isn’t it. It is unfortunate that a couple of vultures in a plant somewhere can ruin this vision so easily. On the other hand we understand what its like to wait and wait for a new record… that’s one of the reasons we tried so hard to get a new record out soon. We didn’t want our fans to wait. We appreciate those of you who are still waiting, but like I said, we understand those who have to sneak a peek at the presents under the tree the night before. Please remember that as the music industry changes more and more we only put out records so we can keep touring and travelling. We want to keep this going for as long as possible. Obviously your support helps that. Please take this into consideration with whatever decision you make when it comes to downloading the record and buying it when it is released.
Thanks.”
The album drops February 6th. You can LEGALLY pre-order it right here.

Pete Wentz and Lindsay Lohan?
According to gossip, Lindsay Lohan is getting her…er…fill of emo…
Says the NY Daily News:
Hot on the heels of Ashlee Simpson and actress Michelle Trachtenberg, we hear Lindsay Lohan has become the latest starlet to hook up with Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz. No word yet as to whether she was turned on by Wentz’s punching fit during the brawl at his Albuquerque concert Sunday.
Fall Out Boy Fracas
My friend Sarah sent me this amazing clip via ONTD of Pete Wentz reprezenting for his homies. According to the video description:
A roadie (and comrade) of FOB’s was still letting ppl on [stage]. That must have pissed off a certain security guard enough to attack the roadie and bring him offstage and grapple with him. Pete took offense and dropped the mic, jumped offstage and started beating the shit outta that security guard. After the pummel, Pete got back on satge, grabbed the mic and stated, “That’s what you get when you f*ck with my friends…f*ckin’ asshole!” then the band left…
I Got My Ass Kicked By Someone In Fall Out Boy…
The fight occurred on January 7, 2006 at the Sunshine Theater in Albuquerque, NM.
