Swimsuits! at the Disco aka Why Is Ryan Ross Not In Briefs?
Have you SEEN the photos of the Panic! at the Disco boys with model Julie Henderson for the swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated? Have you SEEN how ridiculous they are?
I don’t know who thought it was a good idea to make the swimsuit issue the “music” issue… they have a whole series of seemingly random pairings of musical artists with random model chicks in bikinis. Now if they had the boys in swimsuits as well, now THAT’s a feature I can get behind. Why is it, of all the musicians they pegged for this swimsuit issue it is ONLY the ONE female artists they picked (Beyonce) that appears in a skimpy swimsuit. The closest the male musicians come to being in briefs is Steven Tyler from Aerosmith, but how is that fair? You couldn’t PAY that man enough to actually wear a shirt that fully clothed his torso. Oh and Jimmy Buffet in a surfer body suit does NOT count. (Nor should it be allowed.)

i thought it was pretty hilarious. i have a friend who is MADLY in love with brendon and ryan and when i told her the news her reaction was the same as everyone’s: “ryan . . . SHIRTLESS?!?!” not quite . . . haha. if they had put her in a more victorian-inspred bathing suit (muted tones, lace accents, etc.), and maybe in the pictures where you can’t see her feet just have her go barefoot so she doesn’t tower over the boys so much, i think it would have turned out better. but it’s sports illustrated, and i do not think any of the guys reading it were looking at the artists. i think they were looking at . . . boobies.
I love these pictures. Its funny when Jon is holding bdens leg. except for the fact that ryan needs a shave and possibly a haircut and he needs to get his hands out of that girls pants (er swimsuit bottom) like in that one picture. Hes way too thrilled with that model. im jealous :[[

They wear the make-up because it’s good publicity, not because they don’t want teenies falling all over them. Don’t be an idiot. You all know that this was a bad idea for a photoshoot (not that Panic should be blamed for an awful idea), and they were just doing it for the money and publicity. For the record, a few of them were talking about how “shallow” or “superficial” they were being here, but then you go on about how you wish they were mostly naked. It’s a girl, and they have penises, obviously they’re going to be pretty eager to put their hands on her. It’s normal, and you shouldn’t act so naive. Or, more precisely, so jealous.
