My Chem Premieres “Teenagers” Video

“Teenagers” is one of my favorite songs off of My Chemical Romance’s The Black Parade. This video isn’t as great as The Black Parade, but whatevs. It’s by Marc Webb, who has directed a shizton of amazing videos for My Chem as well as one of my most favorite videos of the last few years, “Move Along” by the All-American Rejects.

I definetly love this song. Its my favorite off the cd as well. Uh, not so sure on the video thought. Frank definetly stands out to me. He always puts on a great preformance. I hate how Gerard looks like he has epilepsy or is having an orgasm. It just doesnt do it for me. The ending is definetly great.

I love the video. Marc Webb is awesome, as always. Oh, and did you guys hear, Gerard got engaged? Anyway, I think the video looks cool, it’s simple but it totally works with the song.
‘Teen Spirit’ much?
Yea, I got the Teen Spirit vibe too, along with just a smidge of AFI’s ‘Miss Murder’ [with the banners and such]. Its a nice video and all, especially the end, but definitely not my favorite. *shrug*
yeah, it was ok and did make my appreciate the song a bit more, but i personally didn’t like the cheerleader dancy thing. i am always blown away by their vids but this one was mediocre.
you’re right about this not being on the same level as the black parade, buuuuuut… the simple verse-chorus-verse layout of the song only really allows for just a “good” video.
I love the way Gerard looks in this video. I also love the song. I like the way the video is made and everything. Oh yea and once again emo=hott!!!!!!!!!

its exactly the kind of video Gerard said the band would never do ( a room full of “fans” singing along to a song just to get some screen time) its a little unerving to see a band like that do something so hypocritical. i hope mainstream isnt changing them
